![]() This could be because the USB virtual port was the one the Epson printer was already on but that line of reasoning implies you can not have two usb printers on a Win 7 PC. The Espon printer is NO LONGER IN THE PRINTER list so now my customer can not print at all and is mad at me. I try to print and nothing happens, again no error (but if I keep the print job list window open the print job shows up and disappears in about 1/10 second which is NOT RIGHT.) I go thru 300 HP printers and select PCL5 LaserJet 1320 and the install finishes with NO error. ![]() The install continues and instead of ending I am presented with an enormous Add Printer menu of 1000s of printers (in other words the Universal print drivers is a fake, there is no real Win 7 driver). The KEY fork I believe is when I havre to choose between an existing port (I choose a USB virtual port as it is a usb connected printer) and I do not choose NEW port. ![]() I install it and instead of click, click, click DONE, I am faced with an endless series of forks in the road (what is mentioned below is only 1/3 of them REALLY). I got to HP website to download Win 7 64 bit driver and find a Universal Print driver. Laserjet 1320 is in Printer list but has yellow triangle over it (even though turned on and connected to PC with usb cable). Older Epson all in one is already installed in Windows 7 and prints. ![]() This is for my customer I fix PCs for a living. ![]()
